How it works

From complaint to refund.

Each file follows the same stages: documents and evidence, review and search, confirmation of the amount, recovery, and a transfer to the details you choose.

Process stages

How a case moves from the first papers to the transfer.

  1. Questions, documents and evidence

You answer the case questions and sign the documents. Personal data is provided together with the evidence that has been preserved: statements, payment records, chats and any other proof still available.

  2. Review and search

The examination and search for the funds then begin. This stage can last from 5 to 90 days, depending on the broker, the trail of the money and the completeness of the file.

  3. The amount is identified

When the sum is found, you receive a document confirming the amount that can be recovered.

  4. Recovery of the funds

After that document is signed, the funds are taken into recovery — the seizure and retrieval of the identified sum.

  5. Bank account or crypto wallet

A bank account or a cryptocurrency wallet is prepared so the funds can be received. You choose the destination.

  6. Final document

A closing document is issued. It records the recovered amount and the details that will be used for the transfer.

  7. Transfer to your details

The money is then sent from us to the bank account or wallet you selected. There is no fee from CFB on this transfer.

Digital assets

Cryptocurrency can also be recovered.

Losses in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and other assets can be examined. Current tracing methods allow investigators to follow wallet movement and identify exchanges where funds were withdrawn.

  • Wallet tracing and address grouping
  • Notices to exchanges and payment processors
  • Stablecoin path analysis
  • Joint recovery with Global Refund

What supports the 80% rate

  • Transaction hashes and wallet addresses
  • Deposit receipts from card, wire or crypto
  • Broker account statements and trade history
  • Email or messenger correspondence
  • Records of blocked withdrawals

A case can still be opened without a full set of documents, but the success rate is lower and the timeline is closer to 90 days.
